My sacrifice of praise started in October 2021 when Pastor Mayokun the organizer and the host of the event got a message from God to raise seven altars of praise to praise him and glorify his holy name.The first altar of praise was head in a Redeemed Christian Church of God at Ikeja Lagos, second was also in a redeemed church at Magodo and the third was at Egbeda and other places within Lagos and in Ibadan between October 2021 to February 2022. After this she decided that the programme is going to be held anually.It’s a vision that God made known to her that if you want joy you should always try to bring Joy to people’s life. Whatsoever is it you desire in life go out of your way to give it to others and see God himself move in that direction for your life. That Lord has been faithful regarding this event.You see whenever we say sacrifice of praise i promise you it’s always being a true sacrifice. This particular year 2023 edition is special as it’s being blowing out of proportion and God has been standing film,standing secured, he’s being prooving himself, the rejoicing is his and he’s always take his glory.

I have one prayer that I continue to say in Yoruba language I tell God that “Gba ebo ope mi o mo gbe wa” Meaning take my sacrifice of praise as I brought it to you. One thing is for one to offer a sacrifice and another thing is for God to take it.So the key thing is not about just the programme but making sure that you stay in turned with what God want you to be, how he wants you to be, who he wants to be there every step of the way, every part of the programme the Lord directs, the Lord instruct he gave me a covenant scripture which is Pslam 32 verse 8 “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.” – Psalm 32:8 (NKJV)

We let God direct us, instruct us and guilde us. He alone takes all the Glory and the blessings is ours. So really Sacrifice of Praise is Just a sacrifice to say father you are greatful. He always brings people together to come and be blessed and recieve, for them to be able to rejoice in the Lord. All what we are doing is for the name of God alone be glorified, to be magnified, to be praised, to be exalted, to be lifted up as the Lord continue to take our sacrifices of praise whichever area, whichever way is requesting it from us. I praise for the grace for us to give our sacrifice of praise unto God for us to be able to collect which is his hand the Lord will give it unto us in Jesus name.
